Qantas is set to launch a new Perth-Busselton route in June, enhancing connectivity to the breathtaking Margaret River region.

Starting 27 June, flights will operate on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, coinciding with the Australian winter school holidays and peak whale-watching season. Offering over 31,000 seats annually, the new service is expected to draw both domestic and international travelers eager to experience the region’s world-class wineries, pristine beaches, and stunning natural attractions.

QantasLink CEO Rachel Yangoyan expressed enthusiasm for the new route, highlighting the airline’s commitment to regional tourism.

“We’re committed to supporting regional tourism and are thrilled to be growing our regional network by launching a new route into the spectacular Margaret River,” Yangoyan said.

“Famous for its wineries, crystal-clear waters, and whale watching, these new flights are set to make the region even more accessible for Australians and international holidaymakers travelling through Perth.”

Building on the success of Jetstar’s direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne to Busselton, the new service will further improve accessibility for travelers from major cities like Brisbane and Adelaide. International visitors flying into Perth will also enjoy seamless connections to this popular tourism destination.

For those planning a stopover in Perth before heading to Margaret River, a range of furnished apartments in Perth offer convenient and comfortable accommodation options. Whether for a short stay or an extended visit, these apartments provide a home-like experience with easy access to the city’s attractions and transport links.

Flights are now on sale, with launch fares starting at $149. The route will be operated by a 100-seat QantasLink Fokker F100 aircraft, providing a comfortable and convenient travel option for passengers.
